The United Film Festivals are proud to announce our first annual Screenwriting Contest. After 8 years of running successful film festivals in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tulsa, Chicago, New York & London we've decided to build in a forum solely for screenwriters.
Over the years we've been able to build an extensive network of filmmakers but we wanted to go one step further and cater to those who often get overlooked in the world of film production - "the screenwriter".
So in our first year we've chosen to focus our "Call For Scripts" on 3 genres (see listed below) and in two separate categories: Short Scripts & Feature Scripts. We believe over time we'll be able to open more doors for screenwriters as we recently have for filmmakers in the way of distribution. |
