Lineup Announcement
Los Angeles United is proud to present an amazing list of Feature-Length Narratives and Documentaries.
All films will be L.A. Premieres or Special Engagement Screenings and will be preceded by a few Award-Winning Short Films.
Our kick-off film is the hilarious romantic comedy, How to Make Love to a Woman, which deals with one man's quest to learn what it really takes to please his girlfriend. Starring Josh Myers, Krysten Ritter, Ian Somerhalder and Ken Jeong, this film will have a special screening April 29th at the historic Vista Theatre. Saturday’s environmental day includes mockumentary Beyond the Pole which follows a hilarious film crew on the first carbon neutral, organic, vegetarian expedition ever to attempt the North Pole. Like Dandelion Dust shows what happens when a couple’s idyllic life is shattered when their adopted son’s biological parents find a loophole in the adoption papers. Starring Mira Sorvino, Barry Pepper, and Cole Hauser. The nostalgic Special When Lit rediscovers the lure of the lost pop icon: pinball. Complacent is a compelling drama about two close sisters who are shaken to the core by a tragedy which questions the way that they live their lives. Starring Kerri Green, Cerina Vincent, Elisa Donovan and Joey Kern. We will be having a special screening of The Shark is Still Working, about one of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters of all time, Jaws. Other films in our line-up include Jeffie Was Here, Official Rejection, Dive!, Tapped, The Rock’n’Roll Dreams of Duncan Christopher, Divorcing God, Bicycle Dreams, Race Team, Facing the Fat, Frank & Cindy, Branson, Etienne!, and The Rock-afire Explosion.
